Open the tour, go to Dates & prices, choose a departure and press Book this trip. It takes about 5 minutes: travellers, rooms and extras, flights (optional), review, then payment. Your seats are held for 30 minutes while you book.

We hold them for 30 minutes from the moment you start. When you go to the payment page we add 10 more minutes, once, so a bank check does not run out of time. If the hold ends, the seats are released and you can start again.

We need to check hotels or guides before confirming that date. Send the booking with nothing to pay. We confirm within 24 hours and email you a payment link that is valid for 48 hours.

Yes, once and for free if you ask 30 days or more before arrival. Choose another date of the same tour in My Bookings; we hold the new seats for 48 hours while we confirm. You pay any price difference, or we refund it if the new date is cheaper. Later or second moves count as a cancellation and a new booking.

Adding someone is possible if a seat is free; you pay their share. Removing someone is a cancellation of their share, with the same 5% fee, and only 14 days or more before arrival. Request either in My Bookings.

Sign in to My Bookings with your email. We send you a link, so there is no password to remember. There you can add flights and passport details, pay the remaining 50%, download receipts and request changes.

Yes, one per booking. Enter it in the first step. If you also qualify for our returning-traveller discount, we apply whichever is bigger. A partner code from a travel company is separate and can be used too.

No. Pay the full amount, or 50% when you book and 50% after you arrive. If you arrive in less than 14 days, we ask for the full amount when you book.

Within 48 hours of arrival, and always before day 3 of the tour. Pay online in My Bookings at any time, or in cash to our team in Sri Lanka. If you saved your card and it is still unpaid at the deadline, we charge that card.

Prices are shown in US dollars. We do not add card fees. Cash for the remaining 50% can be paid in US dollars or in rupees at that day's rate.

You can cancel up to 14 days before arrival. We keep a 5% fee on the booking total and refund the rest within 14 days of approval, to the card you paid with. Less than 14 days before arrival, or if you do not arrive, the booking cannot be cancelled and nothing is refunded. Full details are in our Booking & Cancellation Policy.

We refund cash payments by bank transfer to an account in your name, within 14 days of approval.

If a departure does not reach its minimum group size or we have to cancel it, you choose another date or a full refund, with no fee.

Yes. You pay on our payment partner's secure page with 3-D Secure. We never see or store your full card number.

Up to 20 travellers, usually 8 to 12, with one guide who stays with the group the whole way.

Enough travellers have booked for the departure to run. It will go ahead whatever happens with further bookings.

Only if you want a room of your own. You can share a twin room with another traveller of the same gender and pay no supplement, or pay the single supplement shown next to each date.

Most group tours have a minimum age of 8, shown in the key information on each tour. Private tours can take children and infants of any age.

Each tour shows an activity level from Easy to Challenging, with details under Is this tour for you? For example, Sigiriya has about 1,200 steps.

Fill in the 2-minute request form. A trip planner contacts you on WhatsApp or by email, usually within 24 hours, then sends you a quote link with the day-by-day plan and price. Accept it, pay 50% or in full, and travel with your own guide.

It depends on dates, group size and hotel level. Quotes often show 3★, 4★ and 5★ options side by side, so you can choose. There is nothing to pay until you accept a quote.

The quote shows the date its prices are held until. After that we check hotel prices again and send you an updated version.

Yes. Sri Lanka and the Maldives is the most popular pair, a 1 hour 20 minute flight apart. Mention it in your request.

Most visitors need an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) before they fly. Apply online at least a week before travel. We send you the link and a checklist after you book.

At least 6 months after you arrive, with a blank page. Add passport details for each traveller in My Bookings.

Yes. Every traveller needs insurance that covers medical costs and cancellation before departure. Add the policy number in My Bookings.

No. Book your own flights and add them in My Bookings at least 14 days before departure. Airport pick-up and drop-off on the first and last day are included in our tours.
